Not just because of the manipulative Line of Questioning. But because either they will then do more for Mutants to please me – which is always sa good thing – or they wonât, in which Case theyâre not doing their Best for Mutants and their Actions are utterly performative which makes me right to hate them.
Magneto is one of those people who gets away with a lot of bullshit because heâs hot, but he doesnât know thatâŚ.he thinks everyone goes along with him because he has such good ideas
Not to go all queer theory (bc we all know that kind of analysis tends to descend into hot nonsense fast), but like I sincerely believe that Magneto reads as fundamentally gay even discounting specific instances of homoeroticism surrounding him. I think itâs the particular combination of flamboyance/camp/performativity and pure, deep rage!
